Ayurvedic medicine, or “Ayurveda,” is considered one of the oldest forms of holistic therapy, encompassing a set of practices addressing the health of the entire body.
“Ayurveda” derives from two Sanskrit words: “ayuh,” meaning “life” or “longevity,” and “veda,” meaning “science” or “sacred knowledge.”
Therefore, Ayurveda can be translated as the “science of longevity” or the “sacred knowledge of life.” Its purpose is to promote health improvement and well-being, rather than solely combating diseases.
Practitioners of Ayurveda believe that each person is composed of the five basic elements of the universe: space, air, fire, water, and earth. These combine in the human body to form three vital energy forces, known as doshas, which control all bodily functions and their convergence for the proper functioning of the human body.
– Vata dosha: representative force of space and air
– Pitta dosha: force of fire and water
– Kapha dosha: corresponding force of water and earth
Each person inherits and possesses a unique combination of these vital forces, but usually, one of them manifests more prominently than the others, shaping both the individual’s personality and health status.
Many things can disturb the energy balance, such as stress, unhealthy diet, weather, and strained family relationships; considering these details, Ayurvedic practitioners prescribe treatments to bring the doshas back into balance.
MASSAGE & STEAM (PURVAKARMA)
Massage combined with a steam bath delivers excellent results. The effects are enhanced because heat and steam allow the medicated oils to penetrate the body and nourish it from within.
Reduces stress and relaxes: the combination of massage and the steam room creates a deeply relaxing experience. It helps calm the nervous system, reduces stress, and promotes a sense of inner peace.
An Ayurvedic therapist focuses on cleansing the body’s energy channels, moving and eliminating toxins, and balancing the chakras (energy centers).

SHIRODHARA – MENTAL CLARITY & INSOMNIA
A holistic technique of dripping warm oil onto the forehead. Warm medicated oil is poured in a continuous stream flowing over the forehead. In Ayurvedic medicine, it is considered one of the most effective treatments for relieving stress and helping with depression, insomnia, and anxiety. The effects of this treatment are subjective. As a result of the focus created by the continuous flow of oil on the “third eye,” somatic-emotional releases may occur in the form of inner journeys, during which lights, vibrations, sounds, colors, or people may be experienced.
The therapy is followed by a scalp and neck massage, using intuitive movements for relaxation and muscle release.

AYURVEDA HARMONY
A true gift against stress, insomnia, or accumulated tension in the scalp and body, inspired by Ayurvedic medicine. The massage helps eliminate toxins and negative energies, regulates circulation and lymphatic flow, strengthens the muscles, and supports and maintains joint flexibility. During the therapy, a Tibetan Singing Bowl is used—its resonance revitalizes and rejuvenates the body, mind, and spirit. It acts as a holistic healing instrument for overall well-being.
